In an East Baton Rouge Parish Library branch, you have two options if you want to send a fax (the Library cannot receive public faxes at this time):

1) Go to faxzero.com using one of our public computers (you will need your East Baton Rouge Parish Library card number to log on to one of our public computers).

2) Use the Fax Scan 24 Kiosk (aka the public fax machine; it will only take credit or debit cards).

To use the public fax machine:

1. Have your credit/debit card ready.
2. Lift up the receiver.
3. Follow the voice prompts. (One of the things it will ask is whether or not you want a text message confirming that your fax was sent.)
4. If you said yes to receiving a confirmation text, you should get one after the fax machine completes its job.

Additional notes:

• Each machine holds up to fifteen (15) pages at a time.
• In the United States, the first page is $1.75 and each successive page is $1.00.
• For international faxes, the first page is $3.95 and each successive page is $3.45. 
• Both letter- and legal-sized faxing is available.
